Overview

Course Overview

This course is designed for MEP engineers who want to work on BIM-enabled projects. You will master Autodesk Revit MEP across all three disciplines — mechanical, electrical, and plumbing — and learn BIM coordination workflows using Navisworks. The course includes real project deliverables at LOD 300 and LOD 400, preparing you for BIM coordinator and MEP modeller roles in top construction companies.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is BIM and why is it important?

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a digital representation of a building's physical and functional characteristics. It is now mandatory on most large construction projects in India and globally.

Do I need prior CAD experience for the BIM course?

Basic AutoCAD knowledge is helpful but not mandatory. We have a foundation module that covers the essentials before moving into Revit.

Which companies hire BIM professionals?

L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, MEP consultancies like WSP/Arcadis, and large real estate developers all actively hire BIM-trained MEP engineers.

What is LOD in BIM?

LOD (Level of Development) specifies how much detail a BIM element contains. LOD 300 is used for coordinated design; LOD 400 is used for fabrication. Our course covers both.
